is the wind map for April of that same year. Winds appear to increase in velocity and shift from NNE to ENE.
The calculation at lower right illustrates that this wind appears to average about 11 knots.


Finally, here is an overlay of both of the above (i.e. March and April together).
The inset illustrates that the average wind vector transition between these months is consistent with a 3.2 meters per second (11 knot) NE wind.
